Website Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms govern access to and use of this website. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These website terms do not replace a quotation, statement of work, service agreement or other contract governing services supplied by 44 Elements Ltd. If there is a conflict, the specific service contract will take priority for that service.

2. Website information

We aim to keep website information accurate and useful, but it is provided for general information only. It is not tailored technical, cybersecurity, legal or regulatory advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for an assessment of your circumstances.

Service descriptions are not binding offers. Scope, availability, timescales and charges are confirmed separately in writing.

3. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, although we take reasonable steps to maintain availability and security.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website. In particular, you must not attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious code; interfere with operation or security; scrape the site in a way that creates unreasonable load; impersonate another person; or use the site for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its original text, design, branding, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to 44 Elements Ltd and protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business reference. You must not reproduce, republish, sell or commercially exploit material without prior written permission.

6. Third-party links

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience or reference. We do not control those sites and do not endorse or accept responsibility for their content, security, availability or privacy practices.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, we do not accept liability arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. For business users, we will not be liable through use of this website for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data.

8. Security

You are responsible for using suitable security controls on your own devices and connections. If you believe the website contains a vulnerability or security issue, please report it responsibly through our contact page and do not exploit or publicly disclose it before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

9. Privacy and cookies

Our handling of personal information and use of cookies is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to an individual consumer.
